Fear Dot Com

over all rating-  out of 4

By Andrew Michals on Wednesday September 4, 2002

The Low-Down:::: FEAR DOT COM was a well-filmed movie and had some good filming techniques, but the plot sucked.

The Full Opinion:::: The film surely had a gothic look to it, and had good angles, but as far as plot goes, and if it made sense and had a good 'flow' to it, it was terrible.

I think someone submitted a script to a studio, and it got (surprisingly) made up.  Of course it'll be a big hit with teens because they like any scary movies...But if you're looking at it from a serious point of view, and a writer's point of view, the movie just didn't flow at all, and seemed like it was filmed at 20 different times in the year, and just didn't look good  and flow well.

Action Shots::::There were some, but not many, mainly cool shots from above or whatever...Some scenes were suspenseful, and I liked the computer effects and old-film look and goth feel to it.  That's about it.

Final Comments::::Don't feel bad if you skip this film at the box office, it won't win any awards in my opinion.
