"Full Frontal" was a very unique film from Steven Soderbergh, director of Ocean's 11, the remake of the old Rat Pack film. The film starred Julia Roberts, David Duchovny, David Hyde Pierce, Catherine Keener, Blair Underwood, Nicky Katt, and Mary McCormack.
The movie was filmed with the Canon XL1S camcorder, a professional camera with an interchangable lens, awesome camera! Although the camera's quality (transferred to film)was surprisingly not so great...It was grainy, the digital camera part. But the movie was also filmed with film, to signify the movie they're filming, within the movie...Get it?
The movie was very funny at times, but also had some very untasteful jokes and remarks, that made some folks walk out of the screening I was at. Perhaps they were going to the bathroom, but, for the rest of the movie?
It takes well advantage of the "R" rating, and has some cameos of some very famous stars including Brad Pitt, and the director himself, Steven Soderbergh.
The movie was creatively filmed, and leaves you wondering a few things at the end that we won't go into detail about. See the film, it was a creative film by a creative young director.
