The Low-Down::: Robin Williams seems to never disappoint us in any of his movies (excluding Bicentennial Man that is) with his breath-taking performances.  In "One Hour Photo", he continues his great acting as an obsessed one-hour photo developing store employee, that begins to know the Yorkin family by developing their pictures for over 11 years.

The Full Opinion::: "One Hour Photo", starring Robin Williams, Connie Nielsen, Michael Vartan, Dylan Smith, Eriq La Salle, Erin Daniels, and Gary Cole, is a very dark film, reminding me alot of "American Beauty", as far as 'dark' goes.  Robin Williams, I must say, gave me a very chilling feeling when watching him in this film.  I'm used to him playing Iphegenia Doubtfire in 1993's "Mrs. Doubtfire", and Armand Goldman in "The Birdcage", but seeing him play Seymour Parrish in "One Hour Photo" told me even more what a talented actor he is, and can change completely his personality and play someone so dark and creepy in this film.

The Cinematography::: One great factor of the movie "One Hour Photo" is the cinematography.  The camera angles were not only great, but very original too.  The push-pull camera effect made famous by Alfred Hitchcock wasn't used, but many other creative camera moves were that you don't see in every other film out there.  An angle I found particularly interesting was when Robin Williams character Sy was walking down an empty isle in the store where he works at the photo developing place, and the camera is still showing him in this empty isle with nothing there except him and the shelves, it gave a twilight zone type effect to me, and I found it quite interesting.  Also, another shot I really liked was a scene where Seymour (Robin Williams) was running down a hall, but you can visibly see there was no track that the camera was on...Unless of course it was digitally taken out, or a very steady STEADICAM operator was filming at the moment.  That was a great shot.

Final Thoughts::: The movie is very intense and obviously is intended for older viewers, since the (R) rating.  I suggest seeing this movie earlier than 10:50 at night, which is when I saw it...Although I still followed it, add some time after so there's enough to talk about the film...You'll need to...Not to give away anything, but you'll need to talk about the ending!
