The Low-Down::: SIMONE is a virtually created actress created by filmmaker Viktor Taransky (Al Pacino) who is never seen in person to the public, but is loved by millions of people around the world. Simone is very popular in the world of movies with her great hits Eternity Forever, I Am Pig, and Sunrise Sunset.
The Full Opinion::: SIMONE had some very funny parts in scenes with Al Pacino and Wynona Ryder outside the studio doors when Ryder's character wants a larger trailer like the one next to hers, which is about 3" higher than hers. There are many other funny scenes and one liners in the film. I think all the actors did a great job, the cinematography was cool, and it was a creative idea having a completely computer related actress be the star of these films. What you have to decide for yourself is, "is Simone real?". I must remind you, if you do see SIMONE, wait till the end of the movie after all the ending credits have passed, and you will see a cool clip that wasn't in the movie.
Final Thoughts::: Definitely see SIMONE, the only downside I have of it is it tends to go on for a while, and nothing has really changed as far as what's going on. Other than that, I think it's a very creative film and SIMONE is definitly unreal!
NOTE: Don't forget to wait till the end of the credits...If you have to go to the bathroom, wait until it's over or go during the credits!! Or you'll miss it!!
